Claire is getting good at eating with a spoon when she is interested in eating!

Claire is getting really good at identifying her body parts! Here is a cute video. Sadly, the lighting is a little strange, but it still turned out semi-ok:

And here I thought nobody looked at my blog...we've had a demand for some videos that are new so here you go! Here she is bouncing in her baby seat which she still LOVES!

I used to think Kate from Jon and Kate was crazy for mopping 3 times a day. I no longer think so. Are your kids this messy or just mine? A dog would be a good suggestion if I weren't allergic. But I don't like dogs anyway...I know...blasphemy...I think any creature that licks itself is too grubby to be living in my house. ;)




And my new favorite baby video of Claire...IT'S DANCING CLAIRE!!! Now does she look skinny to you? I don't think so...we converted her car back into the walker since all she did was push it around and get mad at it, like she knew it should be her walker that she could run over toys much more effectively while running!

Indian Summer!

Claire loves to hide things in the trunk of her car (converts to walker--look familiar?).

This is one of my new favorite action shots. Today was gorgeous. You can't ask for better weather in November! YAY for Indian Summer weather!

Claire gives real hugs now! She's been doing it to her stuffed animals for awhile, so it's about time that she does it for people! She will squeeze you and pat her little hands on your back.

OK! All ready to go now! Yay! I really probably encourage her to be on this table. Oops.

I sat her on the couch in an attempt to get a shot of her, but as you can see she was being goofy.

HI! Claire has gone back to waving a lot. I like this much better than the throwing stuff at people in stores, etc. to get attention.

Purple Snow Suit

Claire received a purple snow suit (coat and snow pants) from Glama Lynn and Grandpa Jason. Yay!

The snow pants have a zipper on the legs for easy diaper changes in the snow. How practical!

There are also three snap settings for the overall part of the snow suit. It's by Columbia.

It has a hood and pockets! That's something I always look for in coats! Thanks Glama Lynn and Grandpa Jason! This is a great present! :) Now come visit us and see some snow during the winter for a change!

It's a little big on her, so it should fit this whole season and perhaps even next year. (It's a 2T.)

I'm trying to make sure we get more pictures with me in them, as most of them are with Josh...and of course lots of ones with Claire!


We've been very fortunate in being given many things for Claire. Thanks to all our generous families and friends. :) I hesitate to mention people sometimes, as I don't want to leave anyone out!

Just Playing Around

Claire loves all of her stuff animals at the age she is now. It's really cute to see her hug them!
She also likes to try and put on any shoes or coats that are within her reach.

These sandals are as long as her legs, but she thinks it's great fun to try and put them on!

See the towel she is standing on? She jacked that one from the bathroom. She also likes to steal the kitchen towels to play with them. I can give her ones to play with, but she'll still take the ones hanging up. Hehe.

Sweet Dreams to My Sweet Baby Girl

I love pictures of sleeping babies--especially when that baby is mine! She sleeps with her bear.
I actually started encouraging her using it as a lovey as recommended in the No Cry Sleep Solution by Elizabeth Pantley. It's overall a decent book.

WOW! She has a website: http://www.pantley.com/elizabeth/ The girl on the website is holding the same pink Cheerbear as Claire. That's ironic! I used some of the tips in the NCSS. However, I found that I was already doing A LOT of them. One of her tips was that if the baby wakes up after only 30-45 minutes of sleeping, that it was just between sleep cycles and not ready to wake up yet, or something to that effect. Well duh. So it was also an explanation of how infants sleep and WHY they need to wake up and and and...blah blah blah...read the book yourself if you want to know more. That's all you get for today. I feel like going to watch a show now, so bye ;)
