Indy Ice Game

Listen carefully around 40 seconds into that video. My dad says "Make sure you get footage of the cheerleaders." Ahh, that's my dad. My parents came down last weekend and watched Claire while Josh and I went to the Melting Pot. I love that place. It's a chain. So you seriously need to go there if you haven't. http://www.meltingpot.com/ Then we went to the hockey game with my Dad and Dave. I'm so glad I didn't have Claire with. She gets heavy on my lap after awhile! My mom had fun watching her while we were gone.

Amanda and Alex's Wedding Reception

Love and Marriage go together like a Horse and Carriage

I think I got a great shot here of Amanda and Alex running out to the carriage. I only got one shot as they were moving fast...it was cold! Brr!

They took the carriage from the Indiana State House to the Skyline Club for their reception. I managed to get some cool footage driving behind them for a bit. You can hear some cute Claire noises in the background of this video.

Enjoying a Walk!

Claire enjoyed walking around and trying to find Daddy. She also really got a kick out of tapping her shoes on the hard ground. It made a nice noise!

Alex and Amanda's Wedding Ceremony

Alex and Amanda's Wedding Ceremony: http://www.formylobster.com/default.aspx The wedding was gorgeous! It was at the Indiana State House in Downtown Indy. Look below in the photo, the wedding party was lined up for the receiving line. The pictures are in reverse.

Claire had a ball running around the great big open areas at the rehearsal and before the ceremony. Look at the floor in this one. You can see her reflection!

Claire enjoyed exploring all the nooks and crannies as well. I think the building is so pretty with all the stone! It really reminded me of being in Europe.

The ceiling was so stunning. The ceremony was directly below this stained glass.

Alex and Amanda's Rehersal Dinner

Last weekend we attended Alex and Amanda's wedding. Josh was in the wedding party, so we attended the rehearsal and dinner afterwards. Claire was great all evening. My little secret if she gets fussy: pop her on the boob! And ta-da...she either falls asleep or is all better! The dinner didn't even start until 8pm, but she stayed bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the festivities. She chowed on the Minestrone Soup, Spaghetti, and the Spumoni ice cream as well and enjoyed all of them! The rehearsal dinner was at the Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown Indy. http://www.osf.com/ If you've never been to one, you must find one in your area if you like Italian food. YUMMY!

Claire insists on wearing hats sometimes lately, so I try to find one that matches her outfit ok! Most of her hats are so outfit-specific, that they can look terrible with other ones. It's harder to eat out now as she wants to get down and walk around. She can get out of the restaurant-style buckles and stand up in the highchair, as well. Fun times!
