So I should post a picture of Josh and I, but since we got married nearly a decade ago, I can't find the right photo directory. I got this one elsewhere... :)

Like Goldfish?
So today Claire helped me make banana bread. Basically she sat on the counter and dumped stuff into the mixer while impatiently waiting while I measured out the next thing. Then after it went in the oven, we sat down to read. There were 45 minutes on the timer when we sat down to read. Before I knew it the timer started ringing. Man. I can't imagine her sitting for 45 minutes at this time last year to read straight through...we looked at about 5 books. And she didn't want to get up when it started ringing...but I promised to let her taste some bread, which we added chocolate chips to the banana bread recipe. Mmm.
But here's a cute story. When we were reading, she started playing with my wedding ring. She loves jewelry and is fascinated with it.
C: Daddy give that to you?
Me: Yes.
C: When you got married?
Me: Yes.
C: That you wedding ring?
Me: Yes.
C: What is it?
Me: It's a special present from Daddy.
C: What is it?
Me: It's a wedding ring.
C: What is it? (LOVES TO REPEAT QUESTIONS NOW.)
Me: It's a ring with special rocks called diamonds.
C: What is it?
Me: It's got a band made out of gold.
C: Like GOLDFISH!?! (She was referring to the little fish-shaped cheese-crackers.)
(FINALLY SOMETHING SHE KNOWS!)
I just started laughing.

Jeff and Jessie's Wedding Reception
There was yummy HOMEMADE almond cake, which Claire enjoyed thoroughly. It was pretty much the only thing she ate on Saturday!
Jeff and Jessie's Wedding
Our neighbors across the street were married this past Saturday. Here is Jessie walking in with her dad:

Josh was a groomsman. He is the one on the far right:

Here is Amelia walking in...so cute! It reminded me of Claire at Holly's wedding!

I loved the flower girl dresses! What's not to love!

So here we are at the reception. There were fish on the tables! We brought 2 home. I asked Claire what she wanted to name them. She said "Cracker!" I think that is a hilarious name. So our tiny one is Cracker, which is funny because he is tiny enough to be a goldfish cracker. I asked Claire what she wanted to name the big one. She said "Holla" which is what she says for Holly, my sister. So that is how we named our fish! :)

Holly's Dress
Holly wore my mom's wedding dress which was made in 1973. It was beautiful. She made the Aberdeen blog. Check out the post here http://aberdeenmanor.blogspot.com/2009/04/making-your-day-your-day.html and you can read more about the dress! Aberdeen was a great location to have their wedding!

Little Sentences
Claire has continue to floor me and others with her words and little phrases. Yesterday before we left Valpo, Holly asked Claire what she was eating. Claire replied, "I eat mac-a-roni-N-cheese!" plain as day. It is one of her favorites. She also picked up the names Gaby and Rachy (short for Rachel) who were the 2 other flower girls this weekend. She also started saying Mark for her new Uncle! One can never have enough playmates! Claire and I were glad to get home yesterday and sleep in a little today. Yay!

Love and Marriage go together like a Horse and Carriage
I think I got a great shot here of Amanda and Alex running out to the carriage. I only got one shot as they were moving fast...it was cold! Brr!
Enjoying a Walk!
Claire enjoyed walking around and trying to find Daddy. She also really got a kick out of tapping her shoes on the hard ground. It made a nice noise!
Alex and Amanda's Wedding Ceremony
Alex and Amanda's Wedding Ceremony: http://www.formylobster.com/default.aspx The wedding was gorgeous! It was at the Indiana State House in Downtown Indy. Look below in the photo, the wedding party was lined up for the receiving line. The pictures are in reverse.
Josh looked quite snazzy in his tux!

Amanda's dress was really pretty and had a ton of beadwork!

Josh is in the middle of the guys.

I had to get a picture of me at the Statehouse too!

Claire had a ball running around the great big open areas at the rehearsal and before the ceremony. Look at the floor in this one. You can see her reflection!
