The rest of the Video Party
I uploaded too soon...oops! Ok, in this video Claire says "Boo!" for Peek-a-Boo and "Shoe"--and she calls socks and shoes both shoes. In the video below you can hear her quack (been quacking forever it seems like!) as well as neigh like a horse and the newest which is snorting like a pig which is also a little hard to hear, but watch how she sort of wrinkles her face up. She is also squeaking like a mouse and mewing like a kitten. She loves the animals so much!
Here she is in her jumper! She still loves it, although I'm afraid she's going to break it because she jumps so violently! It's funny because sometimes she will put her dolls in there or her swing and say "Whee!" as she moves them appropriately.
Here is Claire enjoying an Ice Cream Cone. YUMMY! She loves ice cream more than life itself! :) She also likes these Pedialyte Ice Pop things, which I'm sure are full of sugar and fake dye so I probably won't buy them again. One of my New Year's Goals was to buy more and more organic stuff as much as possible. It is hard though as stuff is not widely available.
Ok, I know I post a lot of footage of her in the highchair, but it's easy to film as she's not trying to climb on me, grab the camera, or poke at the light or lens. :) Plus she is distracted by the food. I can't even keep track of all the stuff she's saying anymore. Her language button basically clicked on when she started liking food around Christmas.
We tried the booster seat for a few days, but put it in the spare room, as the mess was a lot harder to clean up when it was caked all over the table. It's much easier to wash a high chair tray. Plus, she was pushing against the table and moving herself away to get down...resulting in a big mess of course.
So my stitches are so itchy right now that I want to rip them out with a pencil and then scratch them with some sandpaper. Ahh...just thinking about that makes me feel some relief! The doctor's office called. I don't have skin cancer from the mole biopsy...but the best part? No more moles on my shoulder. Yay. I know you really wanted to see pictures of my stitches too the other day. Ha!

Video Party!
Here are some videos for you! This first video is Claire playing with her animal barn that Oma and Opa got for her for a "church toy" HAHA. Well...Opa and Oma didn't read the box. They all make noise....the cow moos, the pig oinks, the duck quacks, etc...needless to say...NOT a very good church toy!
Vitamin D Info
Recently, LLL issued a statement on Vitamin D in breastmilk http://www.llli.org/Release/ImportanceVitaminD.html Apparently there was a study done showing deficits in Vitamin D being very common. I bet the study was funded by a formula company. They will do anything possible to try to sell their products. And if they can't sell the formula, then they will try to sell their vitamins!

Cookie Wrecks
Claire loves chocolate. I have been known to eat such copious amounts of chocolate, that my breastmilk actually comes out chocolate breastmilk. You do realize that's how they get the cows to produce chocolate breastmilk, right? They just feed the cows buckets full of Hershey Kisses. YUMMY! So we decided to make some Christmas cookies in January and feed Claire a bowl of TJ's chocolate chips. If it's from TJ's it's not that bad for you, right? Ha! Just walk down their freezer aisle!
Claire has no problem any more with eating. It's seriously like how she just started crawling or walking...it just happened overnight! Tonight I made some kick ass Cauliflower Soup from scratch. Thanks to whomever posted that on their blog...I can't remember with out looking back. But it was great and Claire ate 3 little bowlfuls. Then she came and sat on my lap and started sticking her hand in mine to eat more Cauliflower, carrot, and celery bits. She has no issues with mixed textures there! Notice she's in a booster seat we got recently. It puts her at the table with us!
Here is Josh in his silk Superman robe. YAY for Superman. Josh is my Superman!
Ok, now if you're easily offended, just close your blog browser and just click along on your merry way. Otherwise, prepare to giggle like an immature high schooler! To make our evening a little more fun...we suddenly found ourselves making the cookies dirty. No, not dropping them on the floor, but you'll see. Claire meanwhile ate her chips and some cookie dough. Yummy!
This is what we call doing it DINO-style. We had an odd variety of sprinkles in the cupboard. As you can tell the black and orange ones were from Halloween..and then we used some Christmas ones. What kind of cut-outs should we have used in Mid-Jan? MLK silhouettes?
Notice the special details. I won't describe them in detail, after all, a picture says 1,000 words. Like, wow, you guys need to grow up, or find something better to do...like go sit in a bar, breathe in 2nd hand smoke and get lung cancer, meanwhile spending $20 for 2 weak watered-down drinks that may or may not taste like ass.
Josh made this one. Why he gave him a Hitler-stache is beyond me. Maybe so he could bite his head off in one mighty chomp.
These are 2 doggie-poop piles that I made. Josh had made a big log turd, so I had to 1-up him and get a little more creative. He ate the log-turd still hot and steaming, so I didn't get a picture of it, sadly. I know, you're crying. :)
And here is a Sugarbread Cookie with chocolate chip details, notice the black sprinkles for the body hair.
Don't call us immature, I know you were laughing inside! :) You're going to click on them to see them full-sized, aren't you!?! LOL! These cookies were in honor of this site http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/ which posts some funny stuff.

8 Stitches
So yesterday I had to have 2 moles cut out. Ouch. They each required 4 stitches. Now it just hurts. They had uneven edges so they'll be biopsied.

Tooth 11
Claire has cut her bottom lower eye tooth! This will be her 11th tooth! I discovered it while, of course, brushing her teeth tonight!
Mama, Baby, Up!
Today Claire said her first three-word phrase: "Mama, Baby, UP!" I was carrying her, and she saw her baby doll. She wanted me to pick it up and give it to her. Every day since about Christmas she has said something that has amazed me. She is saying all kinds of 2-word phrases. The funniest one has to be "Dada pee!" Josh comes home from work and goes into the bathroom. She hits the door while he's in there and says "Dada pee!" She is saying "UP" all the time for if I'm not holding her comfortably and wants me to adjust her, if she wants to get UP in the morning, and for when she wants out of her high-chair/carseat/etc. She has really figured out all sorts of useful ways to use this "UP" word! I have more words to post, so look for that soon.

Attempt 2
So then I thought maybe she would want to pose with me in front of the tree. FAIL!
Almost! At least I got a real nice hug out of the deal! I love real hugs!

Attempt 1
So we tried to get some pictures of Claire in front of my parents tree. She was more interested in standing on her head and waving. This is really a cute phase. I much prefer this stage to her love of carrying around a wet washcloth!
